Client Transformations
This full-time working mom of 2 under the age of 6 reached out to me after feeling stuck in her exercise routine, exercising daily, only to find the weight her wasn’t coming off. After going over her intake form, I was able to see she was eating not only the wrong foods, but she was also suffering from things like anxiety and depression. All the while, it was not her life causing the anxiety and depression, yet it was her food intolerances keeping her down. Gluten has the ability to cross the blood brain barrier triggering things like anxiety, depression, and joint pain, just to name a few. While this client does not have Celiac Disease, she does have what is called non-celiac Gluten sensitivity. Through removing things like gluten and dairy from her diet and filling her nutrient deficiencies we were able to get her off anxiety medication and feeling the best she had felt since prior to college. In fact, it was also her gluten and dairy intolerance that was keeping her “puffy and bloated”. With over 30 pounds lost and an understanding of the foods she CAN eat, she is now able to navigate the social aspects of life with ease.

In preparation of getting pregnant, this client reached out to me for assistance in losing weight. What she didn’t know was, I would ultimately get her off of blood thinners. You see, doctors had her on blood thinners for the blood clots she had been having, but with no reason behind why she was having blood clots. Being a nurse herself, she was aware of the severity of blood clots, and got on the medication with no hesitation. After going over her intake form, I saw a few red flags and brought them to her attention. She ultimately took that into her doctors, had the recommended blood work ran, and thankfully I had the right instinct. The reasons I believed to be behind her blood clots was correct. Within 2 months of us working together she was able to stop taking those blood thinners. One thing I always teach my clients from the very beginning is to be your own advocate. Doctors “practice” medicine and no 2 people will ever be the same. Not just that, but sometimes it can take hours to fully study one client, compare their lifestyle, diet, and medications to fine tune what’s really going on. This is where I come in. Many times, I spend 2-3 hours going over just 1 persons intake form, comparing notes to uncover exactly what’s going on with them. For this client, we were able to get her on a recommended vitamin regimen, and a new understanding of the foods she should and shouldn’t be putting in her body. After just 11 weeks together she has lost 45 pounds. We are still working together….so stay tuned for an even bigger transformation!!

This client came to me lost, confused and in pain. She was no longer eating because she felt that everything she was putting in her mouth was causing her belly to be in extreme pain. I knew immediately she must have been dealing with a case of Leaky Gut. Leaky Gut is a digestive condition in which bacteria and toxins are able to “leak” through the intestinal wall. This results in pain, diarrhea, constipation, nutritional deficiencies, fatigue, headaches, brain fog, skin problems such as eczema, weight gain, weight loss, anxiety, depression, and joint pain just to name a few. While losing a ton of weight was not her goal, ultimately, she only wanted to lose 10 pounds. We were able to drop those 10 pounds within 8 weeks, however our biggest victory has been getting her back to a place where she is no longer in pain. She can finally enjoy social and family gatherings without avoiding the food table. She now knows what she CAN and cannot eat. We have uncovered her personal food triggers, fixed deficiencies, and got her feeling the best she has felt in years. As you can see, her body appears as if it has lost more than 10 pounds. This effect comes from the loss of inflammation. She was suffering from bloating and water retention during the “before” photos. With that inflammation came a ton of pain which is now a thing of the past.

This client reached out to me to lose weight for her 40th birthday celebration. With 2 kids under her belt, ages 4 and 2 it was finally time she take care of HER. Working full time and being a mom to 2 kids didn’t stop her from reaching her goals though. We were able to drop over 35 pounds within a 4-month span. In fact, she ended up going past her 40th birthday weight goal. But once again, weight loss wasn’t the only thing we took care of here. During our time together, I was seeing that she had a multitude of nutrient deficiencies that don’t just happen, so I dug a little deeper. Turns out she was suffering from Candida overgrowth. What is Candida overgrowth? Small intestinal fungal overgrowth is the presence of an excessive number of fungal organisms in the small intestine associated with gastrointestinal symptoms. Symptoms include stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, gas, nausea, brain fog, multiple nutritional deficiencies, joint pain and many more. After getting her on a Candida diet and treating her with antifungals, we were able to successfully clear the candida. This client is officially living her best life now. Through 6 months of working with me she was able to learn exactly how she needed to eat for her body. She took full advantage of my daily coaching so that once we were done, she would have all the education she could possibly need for the future. This client was also a vegetarian, in which I was able to create meal plans that fit right into her lifestyle.
